​Bio

​

​My name is Paul.  I'm a student mentor at a secondary college in a rural city.  I've been playing guitar since I was gifted one almost half a century ago on my 13th birthday. It cost my parents a huge $39 - and that was brand new.  I've since played in covers bands and original bands for most of my life - even while in High School. Underlying my passion for playing guitar is my adamant belief that playing the guitar gives a voice to your soul.

This web site has the aim of sharing the joy of music and playing the guitar with interested secondary school students.  I'll use video tutorials, zoom sessions, and in school sessions.  It's hoped that via these options students will enhance their guitar playing skills and their confidence to play in front of others and/or simply enjoy the fun of playing.

Rather than teaching how to play the guitar, my focus is really just on guiding students as they strive to achieve their own goals.
